About
Families of Antebellum Missouri is a 501(c)(3) founded on October 21, 2017 to promote and preserve the history of Antebellum Missouri. Membership in the Families of Antebellum Missouri honors and preserves the legacy of our antebellum ancestors who settled Missouri before August 10, 1861. This date marks the Battle of Wilson's Creek, the beginning of the Civil War in Missouri and a pivotal battle for the nation. As a member of our organization, through participation in various programs and activities, you can continue the legacy of your antebellum ancestors by actively supporting the advancement of education related to the sacrifices and achievements of antebellum ancestors.
