    Passes Away at His Daughters Home in Kansas City, Feb. 6th. Age 86 years.

    Leonard Ramey Green, one of Howell Countys' pioneer citizens died Friday, Feb. 6th at the home of his daughter Mrs. Allie Rinker at Kansas City, Mo., where he had been making his home the past few months.
    The body was brought here for burial. Funeral services were held Sunday at Pine Grove. Rev. Mrs. M.E. Hadley conducted the services. He was put to rest in the presence of a large concourse of relatives anad friends.
    Decedent was born in north Missouri Aug. 28, 1833. And he has been a resident of Howell county for about 60 years. He was a veteran of the civil war.
    Out of eight brothers there is only one who survives, and that is Rev. Philip M. Green, who is 92 years old, the oldest one of the family. He resides 6 miles west of Willow Springs.
    Decedent is survived by five daughters and three sons namely: Jessie Green, Willow Springs; Alva Green, Calico Rock, Ark.; James Green, Springfield, Mo.; Mrs. Mary Boles, West Plains; Mrs. Allie Rinker, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Josie Weaver, Springfield, Mo.; Mrs. Minnie Sanford, Kansas City, Mo. and Mrs. Jane Van Hoesen, South Dakota.
    He is also survived by a large number of nephews and neices.
    Relatives out of town present at the funeral were Josie Weaver, Jane Van Hoesen, Minnie Sanford and Dan Boles.
